Liss International Drives Incremental Sales of Musselman’s Apple Sauce With Free Bowling Promotion
Liss International just implemented the fifth Musselman’s Apple Sauce and Bowling Proprietors’ Association of America (BPAA) Free Bowling Program. And what a success!
This fun, free and highly successful Partnership Marketing Promotion leveraged the power of bowling, the #1 participation sport in the United States, to increase sales and consumption of applesauce. More than 71 million Americans participate in bowling every year, creating a $10 billion annual impact on the U.S economy.
At Liss International, we challenged ourselves to tap into this growing client base and create a family friendly marketing promotion that would enhance retailer support and incentivize the purchase of Musselman’s Apple Sauce.
Our successful strategy for promoting both Bowling and Musselman’s Apple Sauce included:
- Implementing a full-page FSI featuring coupons for Free Bowling with the purchase of Musselman’s Apple Sauce
- Creating a 22×28 Musselman’s Apple Sauce Display Poster that was featured at over 2,100 Bowling Centers across the country.
- Designing a program-themed Header Card and Tear Pad for In-Store Displays
- Providing online support to Musselman’s by announcing the Free Bowling Promotion on all Strike 10 websites
Our Free Bowling Program paired these huge brands together to create a family-friendly marketing promotion that not only drove incremental sales, but also encouraged families to eat healthy and get active.
